so...it has been crazy here. i spoke monday. i guess i did pretty ok, since i made a grown man cry. turns out he is a friend of grandpaw's. small towns! lol.

then i dropped my van off at the new mechanic b/c the engine light is on, and it wont pass smogging so i can renew it,etc..

turns out i have a cracked housing around my air filter. the new piece...is $300! for a plastic cone shaped thing! yikes! plus the tie rods are shot..$140. plus a major tune up which i actually was expecting, $200. plus the other stuff today $200. but on the plus side, my mileage will greatly improve after the fixes...whenever that is, and at $3.35 a gallon, we can use every bit of the gas savings!

then sam's car. the clutch is slipping.

he has a transmission fluid leak to the spedometer...which is dripping off the steering column.

all i can do is laugh.
this is what happens the minute cars are paid off right?

we couldnt drive to bible study today, but i got a ride for chai's 1pm dental appt which turns out was changed to 10 am. ??? we can get another appt in a month.

seriously a month.

it is a good thing all this chaos is today! tomorrow is sam's TV interview. can you imagine stressing out and being on tv at the same time! yikes!

here is tali sleeping in the van that now seats 8 thanks to the $250 of last month towards the car.
